Step inside Hopelesstown, a mysterious place where no one remembers who they are, how they arrived, or what they have lost along the way.
Set between a strange factory, a sparse coffee shop, and a community trying to rediscover itself, Hopelesstown is an original, world-premiere play created by the young artists of Dream Arts’ Resident Ensemble.
This student-conceived and student-written production blends memorable characters, physical storytelling, humor, mystery, and heart. Through a year-long collaborative process, the Resident Ensemble explored acting technique, improvisation, ensemble-building, character creation, and original storytelling to bring this unique theatrical world to life.
At its core, Hopelesstown asks:
What happens when a community forgets itself?
How do we find our way back after loss, isolation, and hardship?
How far are we willing to go to remember who we are?
Join us for this special one-night-only performance and support arts education, original student work, and the next generation of young theatre artists, writers, and storytellers.
Seating is limited. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.
